I enjoyed getting to know you a little better via your blog. As far as the footer, I would keep it, but would change the color of the font so it contrasts a little more to make it more readable.

I’ve got the post written for the new promotion, but it is scheduled to get published on Friday. I’ll give you a hint. The title of the post is: “Hitchhiker’s Guide Reference Hunt”

Thanks for the thorough and thoughtful critique, Jason. I’ll fix the search bar sometime soon. As for the Spam Karma footer, it looks fine to me, but if it’s confusing, maybe I should just remove it altogether…
