Hitchhiker’s Guide Reference Hunt

I’ve got a couple locations on this blog that I have a reference to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. This is one of my favorite books of all time. I have read each book in the series multiple times and become engrossed in them each time I read ‘em. I know Douglas Adams isn’t for everyone, with his outspoken atheist remarks, but when it comes to telling a comedic science fiction story, no one does it better.

I am going to start including references to the series in some of my posts.  It may be a direct quote from one of the books or I may tell a story that is similar to something that happened in the 5 book trilogy.  I will reference these books once each week in a blog post. Sometimes these references will be obvious, others will be very obscure. If you recognize the reference and comment on that post, telling us all how it references the books, I will review your blog/website. If you find it continuously week after week, I will add your site to my blogroll rather than continuously reviewing your site.

If the Hitchhiker’s references don’t get me the desired results, I won’t give up on this idea, but will pick another interest to make references to.  You better get the books and read them so you are able to pick up on these references.

    Ah I’m loving these books
I read the first 4 over the last 2 weeks and I’m currently finishing the last one right now!

I haven’t picked up on any references yet but I’ll keep my eye out!
