Blogging sometimes produces unexpected results and welcomed results if you still need a “regular” job. Recruiters now use blogs as a forum to find possible employees. This may not bode too well for me to find a new job, as I am in IT as a Windows Administrator; and I blog about blogging. If you’re in Marketing or Advertising, then you can let your blog speak to the recruiters by itself. If you are in another field, such as IT; and your blog is in a non-IT niche, you can simply post your resume in your blog. The resume can show your qualifications, while your blog as a whole can show your communication skills. So, whether you post your resume or just stick to your niche, you can market to recruiters by utilizing the correct keywords and showing up on searches. Just keep to your SEO.
