Bloggeries Blog Reviews

rate5.gifYou saw my post a couple days ago that I won a prize from the prize blog. That prize was a blog review from Bloggeries and today is the day of that blog review. They must have found something the liked about this blog because I got what appears to be their top rating of 5. The downside to getting a review this positive it the inflation of my head. It took my 5 year old boy beating me on an xbox360 game to let a little air out.

One thing that was mentioned in the review is the lack of advertisements on this blog. Chrissie hit it right on the head when she assumed that my current goal it to help other bloggers out there. Don’t get me wrong, I plan on monetizing this blog at some point, but it’s not ready yet. When did you monetize your blog? Did you wait for a certain number of daily visitors? A certain number of subscribers? A certain number of posts? Or did you put ads on your blog before your first post?

Glad you liked your review. I generally try and wait until I have a solid readership before monetizing. In our Blog Forum I may go adsense but if I do I’m hoping to install a plugin where I split the earnings 50% with the thread starter and posters so you basically get paid to use the forum.

Great blog definitely bookmarked. Also be sure to come visit our forum and say hello!
