I think they my update it continually for their own use but don’t update it publicly. It could be one of their internal tactics against link sellers.

Google’s crawling is almost real time as the links start to show up as soon as the page is created ( within few hours, for major sites, of course ) , so i am sure they will start updating PR frequently if not already.

I haven’t been actively updating this page, but Google has since changed their PR process. They now update a sites PR continuously, but they don’t update the toolbar export except on random dates. I don’t think that has been done since 2/28/2008. It is possible that the toolbar is updated continuously also. I guess I have no definitive answers for you, sorry.

Great article, I think Google changes everything around so people do not have new websites on the first page within a week of it being active.

It depends if you have a link on website that already has PR7 and only have two links placed on it and if one of them is yours on the next pr update your site will also be ranked as pr7.

However if same site has more than 30 outgoing links then you will not have pr7 instead it will be pr6 or below.

hey i started a new blog in dec 2007.The pages were indexed with in few days.And also on Jan 13 i got a pagerank 2.Surprisingly all these went so quickly and i got a PR og 2 within a month!!!
